Introduction
ERTHH는 독특한 컨셉과 지속적으로 연구한 표현 방법을 사용하는 태국 작가로, 자신을 대변하는 캐릭터를 등장시켜 본인의 경험에 대한 스스로의 관점을 밝혀 이야기를 전개해 나간다. 예술 형식에 대한 지식 습득을 위하여 성장 과정에서 친숙하게 받아들인 만화의 세계에서 영감을 얻으며 자신만의 독창적인 기법을 연마했으며, 세계적으로 인정 받은 작가들의 작품과 각종 미디어에서 영향을 받아 수많은 실험을 지속하며 독자적인 창작 세계를 구축해 나아갔다. 작가만의 팝 초현실주의 회화는 수기적 주제 의식이 강하게 드러나는 작품이면서 동시에 모든 세대의 개인이 함께 공유할 수 있는 예술 작품이 되기를 목표하는 공동체 의식이 드러나는 작품이다. 개별적인 존재인 개인은 사실, 모든 사람들과 공통적인 경험을 나누고 있을 것이라 생각하며 언뜻 차단되어 보이지만 그 이면에 연결되어있는 개개인의 모습을 상상하며 작품을 그려낸다. 이러한 관점에서 작가는 모든 어른들이 한때 자신의 아이의 모습을 떠올리며 과거를 추억하고, 지금의 아이들은 이제껏 경험해보지 못한 새로운 세계를 만나면서 영감을 얻기를 소망한다. 그렇기에 그의 궁극적인 열망은 습득한 지식을 활용하여 자신의 예술적 기술을 지속적으로 발전시키고, 더 나아가 사람들의 상상을 초월하여 마음을 움직이는 작품으로 발전해 나아가는 것이다.
ERTHH is a Thai artist known for employing unique concepts and continuously researching expressive methods. Through the appearance of characters that represent himself, ERTHH unfolds stories from his own perspective and experiences. Drawing inspiration from the world of comics, which he embraced during his growth, ERTHH honed his distinctive techniques and conducted numerous experiments influenced by works of globally recognized artists and various media. His pop surrealism paintings strongly reflect thematic consciousness, revealing subjects that resonate deeply while aiming to create artworks that can be shared by individuals across all generations. In his works, individual existence vividly expresses a strong thematic consciousness, envisioning the interconnectedness beneath apparent barriers. He believes that every individual shares common experiences with others. From this perspective, ERTHH imagines adults reminiscing about their childhood and hopes that today's children, encountering new worlds they have yet to experience, will find inspiration. Therefore, his ultimate aspiration is to continually advance his artistic skills using acquired knowledge and evolve his works into pieces that transcend people's imaginations and move their hearts.
